Terms of Service

The ground rules for exploring ReactDrops and bringing its components into your projects.

Last updated

01 Using ReactDrops

These terms cover your use of the ReactDrops website at reactdrops.dev, its previews, documentation, and account features. By using the service or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you use ReactDrops on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to agree on its behalf.

ReactDrops helps you discover, preview, customize, and integrate React components. You are responsible for deciding whether a component meets your project’s requirements and for testing your implementation before using it in production.

02 Your account

You may sign in using an available authentication method, including Google or a verification code sent to your email. Authentication is provided through Clerk. Use an email address and identity you are authorized to use, and keep access to your email and connected accounts secure.

Do not share verification codes, impersonate another person, or use someone else’s account without permission. Contact us if you believe your ReactDrops account has been compromised. You must be legally able to agree to these terms, or have the authorization required by the law that applies to you.

03 Component licenses

The license distributed with a component governs your use of its source code. Read the ReactDrops Component License 1.0 and any notices supplied with the component. These website terms do not replace a component’s license or take away rights granted under another valid license.

For components covered by that license, you may use and modify the code in unlimited personal, internal, and commercial end products, including finished websites and applications built for clients. Keep the required license, copyright, and third-party notices in source copies and permitted source distributions. Visible ReactDrops credit in your product’s interface is not required.

Without separate written permission, you may not redistribute those components as standalone components, libraries, UI kits, registries, reusable templates, starters, or other development assets, whether free or paid. Making a finished website for a client is different from offering a reusable template to others. The full license controls the scope of these permissions and restrictions.

04 Third-party materials

Dependencies, fonts, images, videos, and other third-party materials may have their own licenses and terms. Demo media are not automatically included in the component license. Obtain permission for the media you use or replace them with your own assets.

External websites and services operate under their own terms. A link or demonstration does not transfer ownership of those materials or guarantee the availability of a third-party service.

05 Email preferences

Verification codes and account-related messages support your access to the service. Emails about ReactDrops news, new components, and offers are optional and require a separate subscription choice. Creating an account or accepting these terms does not, by itself, subscribe you to marketing emails.

You can withdraw your marketing preference by contacting us, or by using the unsubscribe option in a marketing email. Withdrawing that preference does not prevent you from using your account or receiving necessary account messages.

06 Acceptable use

Use ReactDrops lawfully and respect other people’s rights. You must not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, private systems, or restricted content.
  • Bypass verification, access controls, rate limits, or other safeguards.
  • Disrupt the service, overload its infrastructure, distribute malware, or misuse automated requests.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights or redistribute components contrary to their applicable licenses.
  • Misrepresent your identity or imply that ReactDrops endorses your product without permission.

Normal component installation, documented integrations, and permitted use of the source code remain subject to the applicable component license.

07 Ownership

ReactDrops and its contributors retain their rights in the website, original components, documentation, name, and branding. You retain your rights in your own original work. Component licenses grant specified usage rights; they do not transfer ownership or grant a right to use the ReactDrops name or logo as your own.

08 Availability and warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service, previews, and documentation are provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every environment, or suitability for a particular purpose.

Features and previews may be updated, changed, or discontinued. Examples may need adaptation for your project’s dependencies, accessibility requirements, security, and performance. Any warranty or disclaimer attached to a component is governed by its own license.

09 Responsibility and liability

You are responsible for your implementation, deployment, backups, and compliance with the licenses and laws that apply to your project. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ReactDrops and its contributors are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights, remedies, or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.

10 Ending access

You may stop using ReactDrops at any time. Contact us for help with an account closure request. Access may be restricted or suspended when reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, prevent abuse, protect the service or other users, or comply with the law.

Ending website or account access does not automatically revoke rights already granted under a component license. License termination and any opportunity to remedy a breach follow the terms of that license.

11 Changes to these terms

Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Changes apply prospectively. Where applicable law requires additional notice or agreement, a change is subject to those requirements. Website terms do not retroactively alter an existing component license.

12 Contact

For questions about these terms, licensing permissions, or your account, contact the ReactDrops maintainer through @_crisjav on X. For public code issues, use the ReactDrops GitHub repository. Do not post verification codes or private account information in a public issue.
